XC Silver Medalists

Congratulations to our U16 Boys Cross Country team who placed second at the AO Western Ontario XC Championships in London. Competing members of the team were Matthew Kleinsmith, Owen Munnings, Fenway Breckels, Hayden Molnar, Sammy Tonnies, and Sonny Leblanc. Way to go, boys!

Nationals Qualifiers

Although Legion Nationals was unfortunately cancelled, we had a large number of athletes who achieved national standards in at least one of their events, meaning they would have qualified to compete among the best in the country in Sydney, NS. We did not have any true competitive meets which makes their accomplishment even more outstanding. Congratulations to each of these athletes.

ACXC Bronze Medalists

Congratulations to our U16 Boys Cross Country team who placed third at the Athletics Canada National Cross Country Championships in Abbotsford, BC in November 2019 (the 2020 Championship was cancelled). We had an amazing trip in British Columbia and look forward to this year's Cross Country Nationals.

2019 All-Ontarians

Congratulations to our club for having the highest number of All-Ontarians (top athletes in their age and event discipline) recognize by Athletics Ontario at their Annual Awards Gala. Athletes recognized were Cole Ciceran, Nathaniel Dery, Noah Dommasch, Mia Friesen, Carson Gauthier, Tyrese Gibson, Kaleb Kennedy, Ava Neumann, and Mason Petrucci. 

Our 2018 All-Ontarians were DeAndre Fournier, Tyrese Gibson, and Denis Tzvetkov. Congratulations to all! 

Athlete of the Year

Congratulations to Carson Gauthier who was selected as the Athletics Ontario U14 Male Athlete of the Year!

MTA Athletes of Excellence

Congratulations to the following athletes who were recognized by MTA as an Athlete of Excellence:

2019 Legion Nationals Medals

In 2019, we had more Nationals Qualifiers than any other Niagara club. Of the athletes who went on to compete at Nationals, we were proud to earn 3 National medals: 

Carter Teal: Silver in U18 Boys 400 m 

Cole Ciceran: Bronze in U16 Boys Pentathlon

Mia Friesen: Bronze in U18 Girls Heptathlon

Noah Dommasch and Mia Friesen were also selected to represent Team Ontario! 

U14 Division Champions

Our club was named U14 Athletics Ontario Provincial Champions following the Outdoor Season in 2019. Congratulations to all of our members who helped us DOMINATE the competition.

2019 Outdoor Season Success

Our club dominated this season as one of the top clubs in the province, taking home 25 provincial medals between AO, MTA, Legion, and OFSAA.

2018 National Champion

Congratulations to DeAndre Fournier who made TETC History when he secured a gold medal in U18 Boys Triple Jump at the Legion National Track Championships in Brandon, MB. DeAndre's best jump of 14.37 m was a personal best and club record and earned him distinction as the City of Thorold's Male Athlete of the Year for 2018. Way to go!!
